Dental Crowns and Bridges

Maintaining a healthy and comfortable smile is important. At our dental office in downtown Brooklyn, we create custom restorations that look beautiful, feel natural, and last for many years to come.

If you have a cracked, damaged, or missing tooth, our Dumbo dentists can provide the solutions you need to reclaim your oral health and confidence. Our dentists are experts in designing and placing crowns and bridges in 11201. We even provide implant restorations and implant crowns!

Custom Dental Crowns in 11201

Our custom-made dental crowns in 11201 are strong and crafted from high-quality materials like zirconia, Emax, porcelain, and lithium-based silicate. Naturally, we want your crown to meet your needs and look beautiful at the same time.

Dental crowns are custom-made tooth caps that cover a natural tooth and act as a protective shield. A crown protects the underlying natural tooth from further damage and reinforces its strength, ensuring it stays strong and functional. Dental crowns repair and restore broken, damaged, brittle, and decayed teeth, but they can also conceal teeth that appear misshapen, discolored, uneven, or asymmetrical. Not only do dental crowns seamlessly restore your chewing ability, but they also stabilize your bite and improve your smile's aesthetics.

Health Benefits of Dental Bridges

If you have missing teeth, you may want to consider the health benefits of dental bridges. Over time, the spaces in your smile can cause your other teeth to move toward the open space or even cause jaw deterioration.
Restore Your Smile
You can’t put a price tag on a smile that is both beautiful and healthy. Many patients feel more confident after dental bridge procedures. Have you ever tried to hide your smile in a group photo or felt self-conscious? Dental bridges can improve your quality of life by restoring your smile.
Improve Chewing
After tooth loss, you may experience difficulty or even pain while eating your favorite foods. Pain can be caused by surrounding teeth shifting toward the open space. Food particles can also collect in the empty socket where your tooth came from and cause gum damage. To permanently alleviate pain while eating, we recommend investing in dental bridge treatment. Eating shouldn’t have to be something that causes you pain on a regular basis. Request An Appointment with a tooth restoration dentist today.
Prevent Teeth Shifting
Your teeth are held in place by strong roots under the surface of your gums. However, did you know that your teeth are also held in place by nearby teeth? After significant tooth loss, you may notice your remaining teeth start to tilt toward the open space. To prevent shifting teeth, the best thing you can do is fill the space with an artificial tooth through dental bridge treatment. Teeth that move too much become loose and may lead to further tooth loss.

Discover High-Quality Dental Bridges in 11201

Are you missing one or more teeth and desire a complete smile? Dental bridges are one of the most reliable ways to replace missing teeth and fill the gaps in your grin. A traditional bridge consists of three or more specialty dental crowns that fit over natural teeth and hold your replacement tooth or teeth in place.

Dental bridges look natural and effectively prevent your remaining teeth from shifting, which can occur due to tooth loss. Though dental bridges require some special care, they are relatively low-maintenance. Our Brooklyn dental team will demonstrate how to properly clean and care for your dental bridge so you can protect your investment and your health

The Crown and Bridge Process

Before the procedure, we ensure you feel comfortable and at ease. When you're ready to begin, we numb your tooth, reshape it, and take an scan of your smile to ensure a precise fit for your crown. We send the scan to our USA dental laboratory partners, where a skilled technician crafts your restoration; this process takes a couple of weeks. In the meantime, we place a temporary crown so you can eat, speak, and smile comfortably and efficiently.

When your final crown is back from the lab, we will place it over your tooth. We first check the crown's size, shape, fit, and color to ensure it's perfect, and we secure it over the natural tooth using dental cement. We finish the procedure by removing excess dental adhesive and polishing the tooth to look shiny and beautiful like your other teeth. If you are receiving a dental bridge, we finish the procedure by securing your dental bridge in place.

Dental Crowns and Bridges Technology

CEREC Machine

The CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) machine is a dental tool used to make customized ceramic dental restorations in one visit, speeding up a process that typically requires sending a mold of a patient’s teeth to a dental laboratory to get a part made, which can take up to a week and requires multiple trips to the dentist.

CEREC machines produce ceramic onlays, inlays and dental crowns with the use of 3D scans, allowing dentists to provide same-day restorations for patients who need crowns or dental implants
